• A publication celebrating 8 display fonts created with analogue algorithms inspired by Manchester City Tower's architecture. The book's design reflects Manchester's computer science milestones and reimagines the historical architectural piece.

The book explains the research, analogue algorithm, specimen, and application behind each display font. Layouts show the connection between the City Tower’s computer circuit pattern exterior and Manchester’s computer science history starting in the 1950s. Pages are numbered in binary and text is introduced with code.

The publication is split into two parts:
    1. ‘Architectural grid systems’ - typefaces created from the architectural structure of the City Tower.
    2. ‘Pattern-based grid systems’ - typefaces created from the decorative circuit pattern found on the tower.
